What to expect
Your First Visit
When you become established with us, we'll take the necessary images — which may include X-rays, 3D imaging, and intraoral photos — and complete a comprehensive dental exam. We check not only for cavities and the condition of your gums, but also the health of your jaw joints and facial muscles, plus an oral cancer screening. When your oral health allows, we can often complete a cleaning at the same visit. Most importantly, we take time to get to know you, understand your needs and goals, and give you a tour of the office.
Insurance
While we work 100% for our patients and not for insurance companies, our office is a preferred provider for Delta Dental and Ameritas. We're also happy to process claims through all insurance companies for any care provided in our office, and most plans offer great benefits to our patients.
Remember: your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company. We are not part of that contract — our relationship is with you. Our team is always glad to help you understand and make the most of your benefits.
No Insurance? Our In-House Savings Plan
For patients without dental insurance, we offer an in-house savings plan that makes quality dental care more affordable. Ask our team for details and current pricing — call (605) 624-6291.
Payment & Financing Options
We make payment convenient with several options:
- Pay your bill online through our secure Weave bill-pay link
- Flexible monthly financing through Cherry
Cherry lets you break treatment costs into manageable monthly payments. Ask us which option works best for you.
Home Care & Healthy Smiles
Great oral health at home is simple: brush thoroughly at least twice a day, floss between your teeth at least once a day, and keep up with regular checkups. Whether you floss before or after brushing is personal preference — what matters most is that you actually do it, and that you wipe the plaque off the sides of each tooth rather than just snapping floss in and out.
